English 3: George Orwell's Politics and the English Language

Below you will find the link to George Orwell's essay, Politics and the English Language. It was published in April of 1946 and has become on of his most important essays. In it he criticizes modern English writing and points out the negative effects it has on readers and the future of written modern English.
